This carpet was hand knotted by the Ersari Turkmen folk withe yomut design in north Afghanistan. ,
This small rug, woven by a Turkmen ethnic woman, was used in Afghanistan to cover the rider’s saddle. To knit it, soft and shiny wool has been used. All dyes are natural. A nice collector’s item.
