This Kilim measures approx (135x95 cm)
Condition: The carpet is wavy and deformed as shown in the picture.

Carpet folds don't look particularly advantageous. They occur during carpet manufacture when the weft threads are beaten up unevenly or when the knotting frames are assembled and disassembled several times. This happens especially when the knotted carpet is not given the same tension, which is often seen in carpets made by wandering nomads.
